Pain management is an aspect of medicine and healthcare involving the relief of pain and control of pain. Pain management deals with acute pain from a recent injury as well as chronic pain from past injuries or conditions. Pain management often uses a multidisciplinary approach for easing the suffering and improving the quality of life of anyone experiencing pain, whether acute pain or chronic pain.
Anyone experiencing acute or chronic pain should consult with a pain management specialist. If the pain continues to be present, despite conservative measures, you should seek a pain management consultation.
At the Complete Pain and Spine Institute, our providers begin their consultations with a thorough medical history, a review of any recent records, and a detailed physical exam.. After gathering this information, a treatment plan will be customized to your condition. This plan may include, further imaging such as an X-ray or MRI, physical therapy or chiropractic care, or an injection, depending on your case.
Most joint injections can be performed in the office. These include cortisone shots for the shoulders, hips, and knees. Additionally, injections for the neck and back can be done in the office as well. All procedures are done by our physician at an outpatient surgical center. These procedures include epidural steroid injections, radio frequency ablations, medial branch blocks, and more. Finally, we perform in office diagnostic testing such as venous ultrasound scanning, and nerve testing.
Unfortunately, we do not accept any Medicaid plans.
